About the role

Silverline Labs is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer to embed security checks directly into our deployment workflows and ensure robust, repeatable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and extend CI/CD pipelines with automated security scanning and compliance enforcement.
• Integrate static code analysis, container image vulnerability scans, and secret detection into build stages.
• Collaborate with developers to remediate findings and improve secure coding practices.
• Maintain Terraform‑managed infrastructure for pipeline resources on AWS.
• Document pipeline architecture and provide knowledge‑transfer sessions.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience building CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of security tooling (e.g., Snyk, Trivy, Checkov).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
• Understanding of DevOps best practices and automation scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CIS or SOC 2.
• Background in incident response or threat modeling.
