About the role

NexGen Media is preparing a major product launch and needs a Cybersecurity Analyst to uplift test automation, cutting regression risk. You will design and integrate security‑focused test scripts into the CI pipeline, ensuring vulnerabilities are caught early.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automated security test cases for web and API layers
• Integrate scans and compliance checks into existing regression suites
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to fine‑tune test coverage
• Analyze findings, prioritize remediation, and report metrics
• Maintain documentation of test frameworks and security policies

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in security testing and vulnerability assessment
• Proficiency with Python for scripting automated checks
• Solid knowledge of Linux environments and command‑line tools
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)

Nice to have

• Experience with OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite automation
• Understanding of container security best practices
