About the role
CoreData Systems is launching a greenfield SaaS product and needs a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security from day one. You will work with a remote‑first team to define threat models, harden cloud services, and ensure compliance for the new platform.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain security baselines for Linux containers and CI pipelines
- Conduct real‑time threat hunting and incident triage for the SaaS environment
- Design automated alerts and response playbooks using Python scripts
- Collaborate with developers to embed secure coding practices and code reviews
- Document security architecture and produce concise risk reports for stakeholders
Must-have skills
- Hands‑on experience securing Linux servers and cloud workloads
- Proficient in Python for automation and scripting
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and vulnerability management
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 frameworks
- Experience with SIEM tools and log analysis
