About the role

NexGen Media is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to assess, design, and implement protective controls across our multi‑tenant environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for SaaS workloads.
• Develop and apply hardening scripts for Linux instances and container images.
• Configure and audit IAM policies, network segmentation, and encryption settings.
• Collaborate with dev teams to embed security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Produce concise findings reports and remediation roadmaps.

Must-have skills

• Strong understanding of cloud security frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST).
• Hands‑on experience with security tooling on Linux platforms.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or Azure security services.
• Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty.
