About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to assess, design, and implement protective controls across AWS and Azure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud workloads
• Develop and apply security hardening scripts and policies
• Audit configurations, IAM roles, and network segmentation
• Integrate security monitoring tools and automate alerting
• Document findings and provide remediation guidance

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices (AWS, Azure)
• Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation
• Proficiency in scripting with Python
• Solid Linux administration skills
• Understanding of security frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks

Nice to have

• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with SIEM integration and log analysis
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Security Specialty
