GraphQL API Developer Needed for GraphQL Schema Design

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a new data‑driven product that relies on a robust GraphQL layer. We need a developer to design, implement, and optimize the API that will power our front‑end applications and third‑party integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable GraphQL schemas and resolvers
• Integrate GraphQL with existing REST endpoints where needed
• Write clean, well‑documented NodeJS services
• Collaborate with front‑end engineers to ensure seamless data flow
• Implement testing and performance monitoring for API endpoints

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building GraphQL APIs
• Proficiency in NodeJS and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Solid understanding of REST API concepts
• Experience with React integration

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apollo Server or similar tools
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for API deployments
