About the role

TechFlow Inc is building a next‑generation data platform that relies on a robust GraphQL layer to serve internal and partner applications. We need a skilled GraphQL API Developer to design and implement the core API that will unify our microservices and accelerate feature delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a GraphQL schema that maps to existing REST and microservice endpoints.
• Implement resolvers using Node.js and JavaScript, ensuring optimal performance.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms across the API.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for all new functionality.
• Collaborate with front‑end teams to refine data requirements and improve query efficiency.
• Document API specifications and usage guidelines for internal stakeholders.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with GraphQL schema design and resolver implementation.
• Proficiency in Node.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid understanding of REST API concepts and integration patterns.
• Experience with authentication standards such as OAuth2 or JWT.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and automated tests.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with TypeScript.
• Exposure to serverless deployment models.
