About the role

Cascade Apps is building a unified billing‑sync module to bridge its subscription platform, CRM, and internal micro‑services. As a Cloud Solutions Architect you will design and implement the end‑to‑end integration, ensuring secure, scalable data flow across AWS services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect the data pipeline using AWS EventBridge, Step Functions, and API Gateway to connect billing, Salesforce CRM, and internal REST APIs.
• Define IaC templates in Terraform for all networking, IAM, and service resources, version‑controlled in Git.
• Containerize transformation services with Docker and deploy to Amazon EKS, configuring Helm charts for zero‑downtime rollouts.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions that run security scans, unit tests, and automated integration tests for each release.
• Set up observability stack with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana dashboards to monitor latency and error rates.
• Conduct performance load testing and provide cost‑optimization recommendations before production launch.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in AWS architecture (VPC, IAM, Lambda, EKS).
• Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong command of Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of API security (OAuth2, JWT) and data integration patterns.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Salesforce APIs and billing platforms like Stripe.
• Knowledge of serverless frameworks such as SAM or Serverless.
