About the role

TechFlow Inc is building a next‑generation IoT platform that connects edge devices to cloud analytics. We need an IoT Solutions Architect to design, implement, and optimize the end‑to‑end infrastructure for secure device onboarding, data ingestion, and real‑time processing.

Key responsibilities

• Architect scalable IoT connectivity using MQTT, CoAP, and HTTP protocols.
• Design secure device provisioning, authentication, and certificate management.
• Integrate edge gateways with Linux‑based servers and cloud services.
• Develop and document RESTful APIs for device data exchange.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for device health and network performance.
• Collaborate with firmware and backend teams to ensure end‑to‑end reliability.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in Linux system administration and networking.
• Proficiency with Python and JavaScript for scripting and API development.
• Extensive experience designing REST APIs and IoT communication protocols.
• Strong knowledge of security standards (TLS, OAuth, X.509).
• Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration tools.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud IoT platforms such as AWS IoT or Azure IoT Hub.
• Experience with time‑series databases and real‑time analytics.
