.NET Core Developer for Identity Server Setup Program

About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a greenfield SaaS platform and needs a .NET Core Developer to shape the backend from day one. You will work with a remote‑first, collaborative team to deliver a scalable, cloud‑native service.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement micro‑services using .NET 6/7 and ASP.NET Core
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with Azure services
• Write clean, unit‑tested code and maintain CI pipelines
• Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to technical decisions
• Collaborate with product and UI teams to translate requirements into reliable features

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with .NET Core and C#
• Proficiency in Azure (App Services, Functions, SQL, DevOps)
• Understanding of REST API design and security best practices
• Ability to write automated tests and use version control (Git)

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration
• Familiarity with event‑driven architecture or messaging queues
• Knowledge of front‑end frameworks for full‑stack collaboration
