About the role

SwiftTask Agency is launching a data‑intensive project that relies on high‑performance PostgreSQL clusters. We need a dedicated PostgreSQL Administrator to ensure database stability, security, and scalability throughout the contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL instances on cloud or on‑prem environments
• Monitor performance, tune queries, and optimize indexing strategies
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery procedures
• Manage user roles, permissions, and security policies
• Collaborate with developers to support schema changes and migrations

Must-have skills

• 3+ years managing PostgreSQL in production
• Strong SQL scripting and query optimization expertise
• Experience with replication, sharding, and high‑availability setups
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MongoDB or MySQL ecosystems
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
