About the role

LumenWorks is accelerating its release cadence by revamping CI/CD pipelines and automating platform tasks. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune automation scripts that shrink deployment windows and boost reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and extend CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Develop Python utilities to automate environment provisioning and configuration.
• Integrate automated testing and static analysis into the release pipeline.
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA to ensure seamless hand‑offs.
• Document pipeline architecture and create runbooks for future scaling.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python experience, especially with automation libraries.
• Proficiency in Django and building REST APIs.
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL schema migrations.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and version control.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Background in monitoring and alerting setups.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
