About the role
We are launching a security hardening initiative for our cloud‑hosted applications. As a QA Software Tester you will ensure that new security controls are robust, reliable, and do not degrade user experience.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute functional and security test cases for micro‑services and APIs.
- Automate regression suites with Selenium to cover vulnerability fixes.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and triage security defects.
- Validate compliance with OWASP and cloud provider best practices.
- Document test results and provide clear risk assessments.
Must-have skills
- Strong experience in manual and automated QA testing.
- Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test frameworks.
- Understanding of security testing principles and OWASP Top 10.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for test integration.
