QA Software Tester – Test Automation

About the role

CloudWave Digital is launching a new SaaS product that requires rigorous quality assurance. We are seeking a QA Software Tester to design, execute, and maintain automated test suites, ensuring high‑quality releases on a fast‑paced schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and related frameworks
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data for functional and regression testing
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects and verify fixes
• Participate in sprint planning and provide testing estimates
• Track test results, generate reports, and suggest process improvements

Must-have skills

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience in QA testing
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and test automation tools
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Ability to write clear, concise test documentation

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript)
