About the role

NexGen Media is launching a new mobile product and needs a React Native Developer to lead test automation uplift. The focus is on building reliable automated suites that cut regression risk before the public launch.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end test scripts for iOS and Android builds using Detox or Appium
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines and ensure flaky test mitigation
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to define critical user flows for coverage
• Maintain test frameworks, libraries, and documentation for future scalability
• Provide regular reporting on test health and risk metrics

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in React Native development
• Strong JavaScript expertise and experience with mobile testing tools
• Hands‑on experience automating Android and iOS apps
• Understanding of CI/CD integration for mobile projects

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud‑based device farms
• Experience with performance testing of mobile apps
• Knowledge of TypeScript and modern state management
