About the role

BlueSky Ventures is preparing a new app store release that must seamlessly align mobile front‑ends with robust backend services. We need a REST API Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the server side that powers the upcoming mobile experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable RESTful endpoints using NodeJS
• Integrate PostgreSQL schemas for high‑performance data access
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to ensure API contracts match UI expectations
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability
• Document API specifications and versioning strategy

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL data modeling and queries
• Familiarity with API authentication and rate‑limiting

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Knowledge of mobile‑backend synchronization patterns
• Exposure to Docker or containerized environments
