About the role

BlueSky Ventures is building an advanced visual analytics platform to automate image interpretation for industrial inspections. We need a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to design, develop, and integrate deep‑learning models that reliably detect defects and classify objects in high‑resolution imagery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end computer vision pipelines using CNNs and transformer‑based models.
• Optimize model performance for inference on edge devices and cloud GPUs.
• Collaborate with data engineers to build robust data ingestion and labeling workflows.
• Develop APIs for model serving and integrate them into existing backend services.
• Conduct thorough testing, validation, and documentation of all vision solutions.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of experience in computer vision and deep learning.
• Proficiency with Python, OpenCV, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong understanding of image preprocessing, augmentation, and model optimization.
• Experience deploying models via REST APIs and containerization.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high‑quality code on tight timelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow or Kubeflow.
• Background in industrial inspection or medical imaging domains.
