About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and implement robust data pipelines for a high‑impact analytics project. You will work closely with data scientists and product teams to ensure reliable data flow from source systems to analytical platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using Python.
• Design scalable data models in PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Implement data ingestion from AWS services (S3, Kinesis).
• Optimize query performance and ensure data quality.
• Collaborate on data architecture decisions and documentation.

Must-have skills

• Advanced Python programming for data pipelines.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Proficiency in AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue).
• Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization (Docker) for pipeline deployment.
• Familiarity with streaming data frameworks.
