About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching an integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Database Administrator who can design, implement, and maintain the data layer that supports seamless data flow across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and configure PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL instances for high‑availability.
• Develop ETL pipelines and data synchronization scripts between billing, CRM, and internal services.
• Optimize queries and indexes to ensure low‑latency data access.
• Implement robust backup, recovery, and security policies.
• Collaborate with developers and integration engineers to troubleshoot data issues.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL in production.
• Strong SQL proficiency and experience with NoSQL data modeling.
• Hands‑on experience building data pipelines for API‑driven integrations.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure Cosmos DB).
• Experience with containerized database deployments.
• Automation scripting using Python or Bash.
