About the role
Silverline Labs is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay online 24/7. We need a DevOps Engineer to design and implement zero‑downtime migration strategies, automate infrastructure, and ensure continuous delivery pipelines are rock‑solid.
Key responsibilities
- Architect a blue‑green deployment framework for the legacy stack
- Migrate services to containerized workloads on Kubernetes
- Implement IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation for AWS resources
- Set up robust CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and rollbacks
- Monitor system health and define SLOs to guarantee zero‑downtime releases
Must-have skills
- 5+ years in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- Deep experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
- Proficient in AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3)
- Strong CI/CD pipeline design using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions
- Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Nice to have
- Experience with legacy monolith to microservices migration
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
