About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and validate security controls across our AWS environments while maintaining CI/CD flow.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing infrastructure and identify hardening gaps
• Implement IAM policies, network segmentation, and secret management
• Integrate security scanning into pipelines (container, IaC, code)
• Automate remediation using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Collaborate with developers to embed security best practices

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, Config)
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes hardening
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation and security integration
• Infrastructure as code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Solid scripting ability (Bash, Python)

Nice to have

• Certifications such as AWS Security or CISA
• Experience with Open Policy Agent or similar policy engines
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (PCI‑DSS, SOC2)
