About the role

Northbay Systems is launching an integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, deploy, and fine‑tune the container orchestration layer that will power seamless data flow across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement a multi‑cluster Kubernetes environment for the integration services.
• Containerize legacy billing and CRM components using Docker and publish them to a private registry.
• Set up Helm charts and CI pipelines to automate deployments and rollbacks.
• Monitor cluster health, resource usage, and network policies, adjusting scaling rules as needed.
• Collaborate with API developers to ensure secure service discovery and traffic routing.

Must-have skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Proficiency in Helm, CI/CD tooling, and cloud‑native monitoring.
• Understanding of networking, service mesh, and security best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with billing or CRM system integrations.
• Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Knowledge of Istio or Linkerd service meshes.
