About the role

Vertex Analytics is building a unified billing‑sync module called "PulseBridge" to connect its billing platform, CRM, and internal APIs. As an Identity Access Management Specialist you will design and implement the access controls that secure data flow across these systems during the integration sprint.

Key responsibilities

• Architect role‑based access policies in AWS IAM for PulseBridge services, aligning with least‑privilege principles.
• Configure SAML and OIDC federation between the corporate IdP and the new CRM connector, ensuring seamless single sign‑on.
• Develop automated Terraform scripts to provision and audit permissions across billing, CRM, and internal microservices.
• Perform risk assessments on API endpoints, documenting findings in Confluence and presenting mitigation plans.
• Integrate HashiCorp Vault for secret management and rotate credentials on a weekly schedule.
• Validate compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 during each sprint milestone and produce audit evidence.

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with IAM frameworks (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Okta).
• Proficiency in SAML, OAuth2, OIDC protocols.
• Infrastructure‑as‑code expertise, especially Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of secret management tools such as HashiCorp Vault.
• Hands‑on experience securing RESTful APIs and microservice architectures.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SOC 2 audit processes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for security policy deployment.
