About the role
Summit Digital is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need an iOS App Developer to lead the effort, ensuring the app runs faster, uses resources efficiently, and remains stable under load.
Key responsibilities
- Profile, benchmark, and optimize critical app pathways
- Refactor networking layers for robust REST API handling
- Implement background processing and caching strategies
- Write unit and UI tests to guard against regressions
- Collaborate with QA and product teams to define performance targets
Must-have skills
- 5+ years of native iOS development
- Deep expertise in Swift and modern iOS frameworks
- Strong experience with REST API integration and error handling
- Proven track record of performance tuning and memory management
Nice to have
- Familiarity with SwiftUI and Combine
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS
- Knowledge of analytics and monitoring tools
