About the role

We are launching a critical product and need a MongoDB Specialist to lead a test automation uplift that reduces regression risk before launch. You will shape data strategies that empower automated test suites and ensure reliable data handling across environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement MongoDB schemas optimized for test data generation
• Integrate MongoDB with existing CI pipelines to feed automated regression tests
• Develop scripts that seed, refresh, and clean test databases quickly
• Collaborate with QA engineers to define data validation checkpoints
• Monitor performance and suggest indexing improvements for faster test runs

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise with MongoDB administration and aggregation pipelines
• Proven experience linking databases to test automation frameworks
• Strong scripting ability in JavaScript/NodeJS
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Dockerized test environments
• Experience with performance testing tools
