About the role

Cascade Apps is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a seasoned .NET Core Developer to redesign key APIs, reduce latency, and ensure high availability under load.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor existing .NET Core services for optimal throughput
• Implement async patterns and caching strategies to cut response times
• Set up Azure monitoring, alerts, and automated scaling
• Conduct load testing and profile bottlenecks
• Collaborate with QA to embed reliability checks into CI pipelines

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building .NET Core backend systems
• Deep expertise in C# and Azure cloud services
• Proven track record of performance tuning and reliability engineering
• Strong unit‑testing and code‑review discipline

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Functions or Service Fabric
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes deployment
• Knowledge of distributed tracing tools (e.g., Application Insights)
