About the role

NexGen Media is modernizing its digital publishing platform to support high‑volume streaming and real‑time analytics. As a Platform Engineer you will design, build, and automate the core infrastructure that powers these services, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud‑native architectures on AWS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize performance and cost.
• Document infrastructure patterns and best practices.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).
• Strong proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python).

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
