Senior Terraform Engineer for CI/CD Pipeline Setup

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching a rapid CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. We need a Terraform Engineer who can design, implement, and refine infrastructure-as-code pipelines that support fast, reliable deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Terraform modules for multi‑account AWS environments
• Integrate Terraform with CI/CD tools to enable automated plan‑apply workflows
• Collaborate with developers to embed infrastructure changes into the release pipeline
• Implement state management, secret handling, and drift detection
• Document architecture decisions and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise with Terraform and AWS services
• Proven experience designing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Strong DevOps mindset and scripting abilities
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues quickly

Nice to have

• Experience with container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
• Familiarity with policy‑as‑code tools (Sentinel, OPA)
• Background in automated testing of IaC
