About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and audit infrastructure as code that meets strict security standards across multiple AWS accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Write modular Terraform code to provision hardened network, IAM, and logging resources.
• Integrate security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines and enforce compliance gates.
• Collaborate with security analysts to translate findings into IaC remediation.
• Document architecture decisions and produce runbooks for incident response.
• Perform peer reviews and mentor junior team members on best practices.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years of Terraform development in AWS environments.
• Deep knowledge of security controls (IAM policies, KMS, Security Groups, GuardDuty).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
• Strong scripting ability (Shell, Python) for automation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HashiCorp Sentinel or Open Policy Agent.
• Certifications such as AWS Security or Terraform Associate.
• Background in penetration testing or cloud compliance audits.
