Key Responsibilities

• Translate a wide range of documents, including websites, marketing materials, academic papers, and software applications, from Spanish to English and vice versa.
• Edit and proofread translations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Collaborate with project managers to coordinate translation projects, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry terminology, trends, and best practices.
• Utilize computer-assisted translation tools and software to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of linguistic resources and style guides.
• Analyze and resolve translation-related issues, providing solutions and recommendations to project managers and clients.
• Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and other linguistic resources to support translation projects.
• Provide cultural咨询 and advice to clients on language-related matters.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of new translators and editors.
• Contribute to the development of the company's language services, including translation, editing, and localization.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in translation technology.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure high-quality translations and edits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in translation, preferably in a professional setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
• Extensive knowledge of industry-specific terminology and concepts.
• Familiarity with computer-assisted translation tools and software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Certification in translation or a related field (e.g., ATA, ITI).
• Experience with content management systems and localization platforms.
