About the role

LumenWorks is launching an integration project that links billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design and enforce security controls across the data flows, ensuring confidentiality and integrity while supporting rapid development cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and harden API authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Implement network segmentation and firewall rules for API traffic.
• Conduct threat modeling for the billing‑CRM integration points.
• Develop security monitoring alerts and incident response playbooks.
• Collaborate with developers to embed security testing in CI pipelines.

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS).
• Experience with security tooling on Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting security checks.
• Understanding of logging, SIEM integration, and incident handling.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS/Azure).
• Certification such as CISSP or OSCP.
