About the role

Pinecrest Systems is preparing a major app store launch that requires tight alignment between mobile and backend services. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to embed security controls throughout the release pipeline, ensuring data protection and compliance across all touch points.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct threat modeling for mobile‑backend interactions
• Design and implement API security standards (OAuth, JWT)
• Perform static and dynamic analysis of mobile code and backend services
• Audit cloud configurations and harden Linux servers
• Collaborate with dev teams to integrate security testing into CI/CD

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of mobile security best practices
• Experience securing RESTful APIs and backend services
• Proficiency with Python for scripting security checks
• Hands‑on Linux administration and hardening

Nice to have

• Familiarity with container security tools
• Certifications such as CISSP or OSCP
• Experience with mobile app penetration testing
