DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure Setup

About the role

BlueSky Ventures is scaling its cloud infrastructure to support rapid product growth. We need a proactive DevOps Engineer to automate deployments, improve reliability, and optimize cost across our AWS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices.
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and enforce best‑practice security.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline build processes and ensure smooth releases.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM).
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
