DevOps Engineer Needed for Multi-Region Observability Stack Setup

About the role

DataPro Services is launching a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for its operations teams. We need a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and automate the infrastructure that will move raw data to actionable insights quickly and reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision scalable AWS environments for data ingestion and processing.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or similar tools to deploy Docker‑based microservices.
• Containerize ETL jobs with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for pipeline health and performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure secure, compliant data flows.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Hands‑on CI/CD pipeline creation and automation.
• Solid scripting abilities (Bash, Python) for infrastructure tasks.
• Understanding of data pipeline concepts and best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of data streaming tools such as Kafka or Kinesis.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and IAM policies.
