About the role

Vertex Analytics is building a data‑driven mobile insight platform. We need a Flutter Mobile Developer to lead a test‑automation uplift that will cut regression risk before each product launch. The work focuses on creating reliable automated UI suites for our upcoming InsightHub module.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end Flutter UI tests using integration_test and Firebase Test Lab.
• Collaborate with QA leads to define test coverage criteria for new feature sprints.
• Set up a CI pipeline in GitHub Actions that runs the test suite on every pull request.
• Document test scenarios and maintain a living test case repository in Confluence.
• Identify flaky tests, troubleshoot failures, and improve stability metrics weekly.
• Deliver a test‑automation dashboard in Grafana to visualize pass/fail trends.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building production‑grade Flutter apps (iOS & Android).
• Proficiency with Flutter testing frameworks: integration_test, flutter_test, and mockito.
• Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD tools, especially GitHub Actions or Bitrise.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON handling, and state management (Provider or Bloc).
• Ability to write clean Dart code and follow SOLID principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with Firebase Test Lab or Sauce Labs for cross‑device testing.
• Background in performance profiling and test‑flakiness reduction.
