About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a brand‑new SaaS product for a remote‑first team. We need a versatile full stack web developer to shape the front‑end experience and craft robust back‑end services from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement responsive UI components using React
• Build scalable RESTful APIs with NodeJS
• Integrate MongoDB data models and ensure efficient queries
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain code quality
• Collaborate with product and design leads to refine features
• Set up CI pipelines and monitor performance in production

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript
• Proficiency in NodeJS server development
• Hands‑on knowledge of MongoDB schema design
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or container orchestration
• Experience in serverless architectures
• Background in building greenfield SaaS applications
