Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to understand customer needs and preferences, developing personas and user journeys that inform design decisions.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for mobile applications, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and usability principles.
• Collaborate with the product management team to define product requirements and develop product roadmaps that align with business objectives and user needs.
• Develop and maintain design systems, ensuring scalability, consistency, and adherence to accessibility standards across all applications.
• Plan and conduct usability testing, gathering feedback and iterating on designs to improve user satisfaction and engagement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in UX design, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our design processes and outcomes.
• Communicate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that design solutions align with project goals and are feasible for implementation.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure that the implemented designs meet the intended design specifications and user experience standards.
• Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement to fellow designers.
• Contribute to the development of our design culture, fostering a community that values innovation, creativity, and user-centered design principles.
• Maintain a user-centered approach in all aspects of design, ensuring that solutions are intuitively accessible and enjoyable for a diverse user base.
• Utilize design and project management tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Asana to manage workflows and collaborate with team members.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including style guides, design systems, and UX design specifications.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activity, analyzing how these can inform and improve our design strategies and product offerings.
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve usability issues, ensuring that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX design for mobile applications, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in creating engaging, intuitive, and user-centered designs.
• Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Excellent understanding of human-centered design principles, user research methodologies, and usability testing practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and design.
• Experience with design systems and the ability to contribute to and maintain them.
• A bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; alternatively, significant experience and a strong portfolio can be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with front-end development principles and the ability to communicate effectively with developers to ensure design implentation meets design intent.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative, user-centered solutions.
