Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, Express, and REST API
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and implement new features, as well as optimize and maintain existing applications
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code is high-quality, readable, and well-documented
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and provide support to the development team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Node.js and associated technologies
• Contribute to the development of our company's technical vision and strategy
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure that applications meet the required standards
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for applications and systems
• Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our applications and systems
• Develop and maintain unit tests and integration tests for applications

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Node.js development, with a strong focus on server-side applications
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, Express, and REST API
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Knowledge of database systems, such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality code and applications
• Experience with testing frameworks, such as Jest or Mocha
• Knowledge of security best practices, with the ability to implement secure coding techniques
• Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
