Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications using Java and its related technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code that meets the requirements of the project
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that the code is of high quality and adheres to the coding standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and provide support for the developed applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Java development, and apply this knowledge to improve the existing applications and develop new ones
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for the developed applications
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and resolve defects, and ensure that the applications meet the required quality standards
• Participate in the development of the project plan, and ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, and contribute to the growth and development of the team
• Develop and maintain automated tests for the developed applications
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure that the applications are properly deployed and monitored
• Participate in the development of the company's technology strategy, and contribute to the growth and success of the company
• Develop and maintain technical skills, and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Java 8 and later versions
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices, and experience with related technologies such as Maven, Git, and Docker
• Experience with database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles, and experience with design patterns and software architecture
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong attention to detail, and ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus
• Certifications in Java development, such as Oracle Certified Java Programmer, is a plus
