Key Responsibilities

• Translate a wide range of documents, including technical manuals, marketing materials, and websites, from one language to another.
• Review and edit translations to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
• Collaborate with project managers, translators, and editors to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, language developments, and cultural nuances.
• Develop and maintain glossaries, style guides, and other translation resources.
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure that all translations meet our high standards.
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality translations in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other team members to ensure that all projects are completed to the client's satisfaction.
• Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve translation skills and stay current with industry developments.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement new translation tools and technologies.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving translation processes and procedures.
• Contribute to the development of translation memories, terminology databases, and other linguistic resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in translation, preferably in a professional setting.
• Excellent language skills in the source and target languages.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality translations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with translation software and tools, such as CAT tools and terminology management systems.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and systems.
