About the role

Orbit Labs is building a unified billing‑CRM‑API platform called Orbit Sync. As a Cloud Solutions Architect you will design and implement the cloud backbone that securely ties together our billing system, Salesforce CRM, and internal micro‑services APIs. This integration project requires end‑to‑end cloud architecture, automated deployments, and robust monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Architect a multi‑account AWS environment using Landing Zones and Service Control Policies.
• Design and implement Terraform modules for VPC, RDS, and S3 data lakes supporting the billing sync pipeline.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions to deploy Docker‑based services to EKS clusters.
• Configure secure API gateways (AWS API Gateway + Cognito) for CRM and internal API exposure.
• Implement centralized logging and alerting with CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Deliver a migration plan to shift legacy on‑prem services to the new cloud architecture within 12 weeks.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in AWS architecture and best practices.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficient in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
• Solid understanding of API security, IAM, and networking.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce integration patterns.
• Knowledge of serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions).
