About the role

Summit Digital is launching a high‑velocity CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles for its flagship cloud suite, codenamed "Nimbus Forge". As a Cloud Solutions Architect you will design the end‑to‑end automation framework, ensuring seamless integration across our multi‑cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement a reusable CI/CD pipeline using GitLab CI and Jenkins for micro‑service deployments.
• Develop Terraform modules to provision AWS, Azure, and GCP resources in a reproducible manner.
• Containerize legacy workloads with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters, applying GitOps principles.
• Set up automated testing and security scanning stages (SonarQube, OWASP ZAP) within the pipeline.
• Collaborate with product owners to define sprint milestones and deliver a fully automated release pipeline by Q4.
• Document architecture decisions, runbooks, and handover procedures for the operations team.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience designing cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, and IaC best practices.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm chart management.
• Strong background in CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, Argo CD).
• Ability to implement security and compliance controls in automated pipelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless frameworks (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Familiarity with observability stacks like Prometheus and Grafana.
