About the role

LumenWorks is launching a sprint to automate its CI/CD pipeline and platform releases. We need a Python Backend Developer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune automation scripts that accelerate deployment cycles while keeping reliability high.

Key responsibilities

• Develop Python services that orchestrate build, test, and deployment workflows
• Integrate CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) with our microservice architecture
• Write and maintain RESTful endpoints for internal automation dashboards
• Collaborate with DevOps and QA to embed automated testing and monitoring
• Document pipelines and create runbooks for hand‑off

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Proficiency with Django for building internal tools
• Design and consumption of REST APIs
• Hands‑on with PostgreSQL databases

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration
• Familiarity with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Knowledge of monitoring stacks like Prometheus/Grafana
