About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is expanding its B2B SaaS suite with a multi‑tenant feature set. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and integrate tenant‑aware services that scale across customers. The role is freelance, remote, and offers flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop multi‑tenant REST APIs using Django
• Implement data isolation strategies in PostgreSQL
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into technical specs
• Optimize performance and monitor API health in production

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Deep knowledge of Django framework
• Design and consumption of RESTful APIs
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and schema design

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or container orchestration
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of security best practices for multi‑tenant systems
