About the role

SwiftTask Agency is launching a new SaaS product that relies on robust, scalable APIs. We need a focused REST API Developer to design, implement, and optimize endpoints that power our front‑end applications and third‑party integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop clean, secure RESTful services using NodeJS
• Write efficient SQL queries and manage data in PostgreSQL
• Implement authentication, rate limiting, and error handling
• Collaborate with front‑end and product teams to define API contracts
• Document endpoints with OpenAPI/Swagger and ensure version control

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization
• Understanding of HTTP standards, JWT, and OAuth2

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerized deployments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest or Mocha
