About the role

Harbor Softworks is accelerating its release cadence through a focused CI/CD and platform automation sprint. We need a REST API Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune services that power our deployment pipelines and enable rapid, reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑performance REST APIs using NodeJS and JavaScript
• Integrate APIs with PostgreSQL databases and ensure data integrity
• Automate build, test, and deployment steps within our CI/CD framework
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed monitoring and rollback capabilities
• Write clear documentation and unit tests for all endpoints

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building RESTful services in NodeJS
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and async programming
• Hands‑on with PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Understanding of automated testing frameworks
