About the role

Northbay Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted Android applications. We need an experienced Android Developer to embed robust security controls and audit mechanisms.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate encryption, secure storage, and runtime protection libraries
• Conduct threat modeling and code reviews focused on data leakage
• Implement secure networking with certificate pinning and HSTS
• Automate security testing in CI pipelines and remediate findings
• Document security guidelines for future development teams

Must-have skills

• 5+ years Android development
• Deep knowledge of Kotlin and Java security best practices
• Experience with OWASP Mobile Top 10 and security testing tools
• Proficient in Android SDK, Jetpack, and Gradle

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud IAM and serverless back‑ends
• Experience in DevSecOps automation
