About the role

Harbor Softworks is launching a fast‑track sprint to overhaul its CI/CD pipeline and automate platform provisioning. We need an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the automation workflow, ensuring each release ships quicker and more reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate deployments on ECS or EKS.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with CloudFormation or Terraform, emphasizing idempotent, version‑controlled templates.
• Integrate security scanning, unit testing, and performance benchmarks into the release flow.
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize build times.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing AWS environments at scale.
• Deep expertise in Docker containerization and orchestration.
• Proven DevOps practices: CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and logging.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway).
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows.
• Knowledge of cost‑optimization strategies in AWS.
