About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a brand‑new SaaS product and needs a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer – Greenfield SaaS Launch to design and implement the end‑to‑end delivery workflow. You will work with a remote‑first team, shaping the automation strategy from scratch and ensuring fast, reliable releases.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build a scalable CI/CD pipeline on AWS using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate deployments via Kubernetes
• Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and performance checks into the pipeline
• Collaborate with developers to define build standards and release gates
• Document pipeline architecture and handover procedures for future teams

Must-have skills

• Strong experience designing CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services (ECS, CodePipeline, CodeBuild)
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Understanding of Git workflows and version control best practices

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
• Background in security‑oriented DevOps (SAST, DAST)
