About the role

NexGen Media seeks a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to develop a real‑time object detection pipeline for a new video analytics product. You will work closely with data scientists and product managers to turn research models into production‑ready services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end computer vision pipelines using deep learning frameworks.
• Optimize models for latency and accuracy on edge devices.
• Integrate vision APIs with existing backend services.
• Write clean, testable code and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate on data collection, annotation, and preprocessing strategies.
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot deployment issues.

Must-have skills

• 5+ years experience in computer vision and deep learning.
• Proficiency with Python and OpenCV, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Experience deploying models via REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of image preprocessing and augmentation.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with C++ for performance‑critical components.
• Experience with video streaming protocols.
